What is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)?

Defining Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Traumatic brain injury results when the head suddenly and violently hits an object, or when an object such as a bullet pierces the skull and enters brain tissue.

Types of Traumatic Brain Injuries

When it comes to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), there are three levels of injury: mild, moderate, and severe. Mild forms are temporary and can go away in a few weeks, but severe TBIs are permanent. At Inspire, we are here to help everyone with TBI, no matter what the level of injury is. 💕
