Inspire Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Podiatrist to join our Melbourne team on a contract basis. We offer flexible work hours to fit in with your life schedule as well as excellent contract/casual rates.  We also run a training program that is graduate friendly and provide funding for further professional development. You will be responsible for the delivery of therapeutic interventions for people with disability as well as the elderly. 

More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to): 

  • Visiting community clients upon referral to assess and report on their current needs and devise a management plan to meet their goals 
  • Schedule your session and manage your time efficiently to visit clients 
  • Treating various foot and ankle conditions as well as prescribing plans to prevent/diagnose a range of nail and skin conditions.  

About You 

To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as an Podiatrist in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on supporting people with disabilities and their families in our local community and equipped with professional equipment to provide exceptional services. Applicants with experience in community services, home care and NDIS will be highly regarded. 

You will require the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification 
  • Current AHPRA Registration 
  • Experience with NDIS (preferred but not necessary) 
  • Experience in community services (preferred but not necessary) 
  • Experience with working with children (preferred but not necessary) 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Current First Aid certificate 
  • Current VIC Driver’s Licence 
  • Police Check
